ABOUT ME

Originally from Yorkshire I have been a resident of Cornwall since January 2015. I live at Watergate Bay, the most picturesque location, ideal for any type of photoshoot you could wish for. 

I have always been a keen documentarian; chronicling my life with image, sound, video and writing. I am deeply nostalgic and love nothing more than capturing a moment, preserving it to be looked back upon in later years. It has been both a blessing and a curse in my experience, but I cannot help myself.

Photography has always fascinated me in this regard because you are not just capturing a moment; you are capturing a split second that could have drifted by unnoticed even with the most fervent attention. Right time, right place. Blink and you miss it. Click and you just might capture it! We get to see action in its absolute intricate complexity. We get to see love immortalised in the click of a button. This ceases to blow my mind!

I have fond memories of collecting my developed photographs when I was younger after waiting a week for them. The anticipation of 'did I get it?!' I still get that feeling now when I go to look at the screen on the back of my camera, or get the memory card in my computer. 

I am looking to collaborate and work with people to help you capture these fleeting moments. Model shoots, headshots, beloved pets, surf and sports shoots, weddings, families, events, products or lifestyle shoots. Feel free to contact me on the contact page and we can discuss your ideas. 

Remember I have the beach right on my doorstep which is perfect for a whole range of shoots. I also know some truly stunning spots around this incredible county that we can make use of. Travel is no barrier to me. I would love to work with you.
